This week it the Chestnut Class we have been playing doctors and nurses in our hospital! We learned about what doctors and nurses do to help us. We've been dressing up as them and treating patients using medicine, bandages, stethoscopes, thermometers and even taking x-rays!
On Tuesday, the Chestnut Class went outside to learn some fun games that we can play on yard! We had a great time playing Duck, Duck, Goose and Ring a Ring a Rosie! We're looking forward to playing these games on yard!
After a busy week in Ash Class we finished it off with a trip to our pop up library. We picked a book and relaxed with one another on the beanbags before our teacher read us a story before home time. This week was our first full week at school. We settled in brilliantly and have been trying lots of new activities for the first time. We tried painting, play dough, sensory play and big construction blocks during Aistear. We went on a tour around the school and visited our school library. We even got to do our first PE session in the Hall. It was so much fun. Take a look at some of the fun we got up to below.
We had some lovely weather this week so the Chestnut Class decided to take their art materials out into the courtyard to do their lovely paintings there! We are painting ourselves so we can decorate our new classroom!
